The operation aims to convert a private mansion and a disused factory into housing in the heart of the Doutre district in Angers. The project seeks to rehabilitate certain historical components of the gardens while simplifying their structure and management. The open spaces are reorganized into four independent entities: the formal courtyard on the Rue Vauvert side; the wooded park extending from the mansion to the Rue Lionnaise; the vegetable-fruit garden located in the lower courtyard, formerly occupied by the factory; and the intermediate terrace. The materials used are rustic: main paths in stabilized gravel, and the courtyard paved with reused stones. Vast beds of perennials accompany the paths, providing distance from the housing and offering a vegetative edge to the wooded park. In the center of the vegetable-fruit garden, a set of aromatic beds is installed.
